Who we are

Programos Software Limited was founded in 1995 by Amos Emmanuel with one idea: technology should serve business strategy, not sit beside it. That idea took us into the capital markets, where our CloudIntegra and CiFiXPro trading solutions went on to automate the operations of more than 100 capital market organizations across Africa.

We are an accredited Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the Nigerian Exchange Group and an Africa Chapter member of the FIX Trading Community, the global standards body for electronic trading. Many of the firms that first trusted us in 1997 still run our software today.

The Programos Group has three parts: Programos Software Limited, our commercial software company; Programos Foundation, our non-profit arm for digital inclusion; and the Programos Software Group (Innovationbed Hub for AI & IPV6 Productivity), our AI mentorship and training academy.

  1. 1995 Amos Emmanuel founds Programos Software Limited to integrate IT with business strategy.
  2. 1997 16 capital market firms in Nigeria and Ghana begin running our software, including Alangrange Securities Limited, Demographic Breakdown Securities Limited, First Integrated Company Limited (FICA).
  3. 1998 Valmon Securities Limited begins running our software.
  4. 1999 PHRONESIS Securities Limited, Shalom Investment Limited and Standard Union Securities Limited begin running our software.
  5. 2001 Camry Securities Limited begins running our software.
  6. 2005 Capital Express Securities (CES) begins running our software.
  7. 2009 Our founder is named World Summit Awards Eminent National Expert for Nigeria, and Programos Foundation begins running the WSA process for Nigeria pro bono.

  9. 2024 Forte Financials Limited begins running our software.

Amos Emmanuel

Amos Emmanuel

Founder, Chief Software Architect and CEO

Amos Emmanuel has spent more than 25 years in software development, ICT and digital innovation. He was educated at Saint Finbarr's College, Akoka, Lagos, and the University of Lagos, where he earned degrees in Computer Science and in Finance and Banking.

He founded Programos Software Limited and Programos Foundation, and led the development of the CloudIntegra and CiFiXPro trading solutions. Since 2009 he has served as the World Summit Awards Eminent National Expert for Nigeria and as a Grand Jury member of the UN-based global competition. He is a Fellow and Chief Data Officer Ambassador of the Institute of Information Management (IIM Africa), and holds an AI certification from the University of Texas.
